How is hydraulic oil filtered? What are the steps of hydraulic oil filtration?

1. Before filtering the hydraulic oil, all cylinders should be retracted to the end.

2. Use the filter device to pump the hydraulic oil in the oil tank into a clean oil drum. The remaining oil at the bottom of the oil tank can be released through the oil drain and then filtered. Use the filtered oil to wash out the impurities at the bottom of the oil tank.

3. Use the filter device to pump the oil in the oil barrel into the oil tank.

4. Run the motor to make the oil cylinder extend and retract at least once. This flushes most of the fluid out of the cylinders, motor, and lines.

5. Repeat steps 1 to 3 again.

Notice:

1. Before filtering, check whether the hydraulic oil should be replaced. Generally, it can be judged by checking whether the oil has peculiar smell, whether it is sticky, and whether the time is too long, such as more than 4000 hours. The filtration accuracy of the hydraulic oil filter element shall not be higher than 10 μm; the filter element shall be replaced regularly according to the requirements of the manufacturer. Please check whether the filter element is normal before filtering oil.

2. The more times the hydraulic oil is filtered, the less impact it will have on the service life of the hydraulic components.

3. New oil is best added to the oil tank through the filter device.
